Native Reels publishing through Instagram's Graph API removes the Creator Studio middleman. Here is the production-grade setup we use at FeedReels.
Format requirements
9:16, 1080×1920, H.264, AAC audio, up to 90 seconds. Cover image 1080×1920. Burn captions in — platform auto-captions are unreliable for non-English content, and most viewers watch on mute.
Hashtag basics
A small set of broad + niche tags beats stuffing 30. Put them in the caption, not the first comment. Match tags to the actual topic of the video, not the channel's overall niche.
Common reach killers
Reposting TikTok videos with the watermark, publishing at off-hours for your audience, missing alt-text on the cover, and posting too many Reels per day from the same account. Pacing matters more than volume.
How FeedReels handles it
FeedReels publishes Reels directly through Meta's official OAuth — drafts or live posts. You can set a delay between articles to avoid algorithmic flooding, and the email approval step gives you a final QA pass before anything goes out.
